Our systems are the heart, the brain and the muscles of the train.
The TCMS Methods & Tools Engineer position is part of the Propulsion & Controls division (PPC) which is responsible for the electronics (hardware and firmware) in our products such as I/O units and computer devices controlling the propulsion system and the train control and management system (TCMS) on the train. We work with robust, high-performance industrial electronics, designed to meet increasing performance requirements and to withstand the harsh environment on trains where we rely on high EMC integrity. Furthermore, railway products have a life expectancy of at least 20 years, which opens the possibility to work with both old and new state-of-the-art technologies. We recently launched our new SIL2 safety platform which opens the opportunity to work with safety engineering tasks.
Purpose of the job

The Methods and Tools Engineer will support the introduction of agile method for global product/ software development and support in all areas within the development lifecycle. He/ She will lead the introduction of the agile methodology in dedicated teams, providing training and coaching in terms of agile development. Working in close cooperation with the other members of the Methods & Tools team, he/ she will ensure that relevant Business Processes (Requirement Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Test Management) are implemented in an excellent manner.

Key responsibilities:
• Play an integral role in developing and introducing the right methodologies for the Software Development organisation.
• Act as a Change Manager to improve and enhance the Software Development process and to introduce new methods.
• Bring new methodologies and new tools into the organisation.
• Ensure that the tools are set up in the right manner and that they meet the user?s expectation.

Qualifications:
• Master's or higher education in technical field (Software, Electrical or similar).
• At least 2-5 years of relevant experience within software development.
• Excellent knowledge about Software Development methods, agile methodologies, Software Development Process.
• Knowledge about Development Tools (preferably DOORS and RTC) and system integration.
• Good team player, motivated by continuous improvement and innovation.
• Self-drive, flexible, with excellent communication skills.
• You speak and write fluent English, Swedish is desirable but not mandatory.
