Ikano Bank is currently looking for a Tax Manager. The position is a broad role within Central Finance and you will report directly to the CFO. The role will cover the areas of Income tax, VAT and Transfer Pricing in all jurisdictions the bank operates in. For the right candidate the role can be very stimulating and it will serve as a challenge and opportunity in an international environment.
Main responsibilities will include:
• Plan and lead the annual tax year
• Secure compliance within the areas of Income tax, VAT and Transfer Pricing in all jurisdictions the bank operates in
• Identify and mitigate tax risks in the Bank for all jurisdictions
• Owner of processes, instructions, templates and tools in the area of Income tax, VAT and Transfer Pricing for all jurisdictions
• Secure guidelines and policies in the area of Income tax, VAT and TP are up to date and reviewed as appropriate
• Responsible for accurate public disclosures and reporting within Income Tax, TP and VAT
• Chairman of the Banks tax forum and BA Finance member in Ikano Group Tax matrix
Required background and skills:
• Bachelor level degree in Finance or Law, specialized in Tax
• Fluent in both written and spoken English, knowledge in other languages is a merit
• A min. of 10 years of working experience within income tax, VAT and TP
• Experience of working in an international environment
• Supervisory experience
• Experience from global tax return calculation principles and high awareness on differences between tax regimes in different countries is a merit
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions from a tax perspective is an advantage
• Excellent knowledge of regulations, procedures, practices and principles related to the Tax and VAT area, preferably from the banking sector
• Excellent knowledge of tax issues from an international perspective
• Excellent knowledge of the OECD TP principles
• Ability to combine deep tax knowledge with business and financial matters

You are a communicative and service-minded person with good ability to build relationships and trust with different types of people on all levels in the organization.
