Right now we are looking for:
* Mechanical Design engineers
* Electrical Design engineers
* System engineers, mechanical/electrical
Your role
You will get to work with the entire process in designing and building advanced naval vessels! Your position involves work in both new-build and modernization-projects of submarines and surface vessels. You will work with international suppliers and buyers and be a vital part of the development and integration of new technical solutions. Common for the different roles is, that you have several cross-functional interfaces for areas of expertise, such as for instance engineers within interdisciplinary technologies, procurement, work preparation and production personnel.
Your profile
We are looking for you who has a genuine interest in technology and people and who understands the importance of interacting and working cross-functionally to find the best answers to complex problems. You have experience from developing technically advanced products preferably in a large-scale project set up. You have a strategic way of thinking and work in a structured and long-term way but you can also be flexible and take fast decisions when required.
Required skills:
* MSc or BSc within engineering, naval design or equivalent experience
* Effective communication and presentation skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written
* Demonstrates strong initiative and willingness to take ownership for results.
Desired skills:
* Understanding of Systems Engineering
* Understanding of Model Based Definition
* Previous experience from large-scale, complex projects
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
