We continue to grow, and are now looking for a Front End JavaScript Engineer to strengthen our project teams in Malmö.

Mobenga is looking for a Front End JavaScript Engineer

Role Description

As a JavaScript Developer at Mobenga, you will focus on developing the core of our new JavaScript based mobile platform. You will be part of a small team that constantly analyze and improve the platform from a technical point of view a well as from end users. You will also be involved in developing client unique solutions and modules, with our platform as base, and integrate the platform to multiple third party APIs. You'll keep yourself updated with the latest web technologies and spread the knowledge to your coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Implement new features into the platform

• Write tests (specs) and documentation

• Driving the development of the product together with the rest of the team

• Answering incoming support tickets (e-mail/Skype)

• Keep yourself up to date with the latest and greatest within web and JavaScript

Required Skills

• Strong JavaScript knowledge

• DOM manipulation

• Basic HTML and CSS

Desirable Skills

• Developing large JavaScript applications

• Mobile web development

• Backbone or other MVC-like library

• Performance optimization

• Node.js

• Git

• BDD and/or TDD

• Knowledge of a OO programming language (like C# or Java)

• Agile development

• Web site security

• Native mobile application development
