hela Sverige We are on behalf of one of our customers in Stockholm looking for a consultant as System Radio Functional Developer/Engineer, for positions in a large telecom project. In this assignment you will be able to work with the latest technologies, solutions and applications within telecom radio.

Job description and competence requirements:
Primary work for a system functional developer/engineer at Radio system is to participate in technical studies and develop our Functional Specification and Functional Descriptions.
The Functional Specifications describe the behavior requirements (use case) for multi-standard Radio Unit products Radio Base Station.
The Functional Descriptions describes how the multi-standard Radio Units work and how the hardware and software interact to produce radio functions.
Specifications is updated and reviewed continuously to support one-track development for WCDMA, LTE, GSM, LTE-TDD and CDMA Radio Access Networks and that the SW is backward compatible for existing 100+ radio units.
Work is carried out according to Agile and Lean development principles.
Specific competence requirements for this position
In addition to the competence requirements above, competence related to Systemization of Fault management and Alarm handling is needed.
Competence in following areas would be preferable:
• Fault management & Alarm handling
• Data communication, RBS and radio architecture, Radios external IWD (interwork description) and O&M
• Systems engineering in general and functional specifications and descriptions in particular
• Lean and Agile Product Development
• SW-design (C/C++), ASIC, FPGA, and/or UML
• Radio HW design, RF, signal processing
• Embedded Systems Design (HW and SW)
• Requirements management tools
• Technical studies, investigations, change requests (CR) and trouble reports (TR)
• Product structure, configuration management and project planning and communication skills
• Leadership and driver skills.
Start: ASAP but not later than 12th of February.
Duration: 3-6 months with possibility for long term assignment.
Location: Stockholm
Required languages: Swedish & English
