Volvo CE in Braås, located close to Växjö, develop autonomous and articulated haulers and wheel loaders. The Team
Product Platform for the Autonomous & Articulated Hauler is part of the Volvo CE Technology organization, with five main departments:
Product Maintenance
Engineering
Medium platform
Large & Heavy platform
Autonomous platform
The System Owners are part of the platform departments that are accountable for QDCF of the machines and that the products are configured in an optimized way to meet customer needs and business expectations as well as internal product targets. The Platforms are involved in the complete product life cycle from advanced engineering to aftermarket support.
The Role
The System Owner leads a system team that own and strive for continuous knowledge build and to innovate the system of interest, secure alignment with long term product targets, strategy and product plans for complete Articulated Hauler and Autonomous product range. Monitoring Q(D)CF evolution, secure technology readiness and knowledge build to enable efficient project execution.
The System Owner for Electrical, Control & Operator Interface Systems will mainly work in the domain of machine functionality and machine control system realized through software. It is also including the interaction with the operator in the cab.

Knowledge & experience
We believe you have a M.Sc. degree in Mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent. We believe you have some experience from agile development practices and are interested to learn and improve the end-to-end flow of functional development.
You are familiar with systems engineering and have some experience of working with system requirements and life cycle. You are interested in learning/understanding new technologies in adjacent domains such as connectivity and automation.
We value customer focus and a genuine interest in technical solutions improving our customers success.
You have good communication and collaboration skills.
Experience/knowledge in the following areas are meritorious:
Off-road machinery/Heavy trucks/Automotive, Embedded Software, Systems/Software Architecture, Model based Systems Engineering
