One of our customers within the Automotive industry is now looking for a System engineer for new development.
Model based systems development has been introduced into our customer for certain areas and how well it is utilized varies. We see a major potential in utilizing model based method and tools throughout whole organization and the full development process. Currently the company is running an operational development project to develop a common MBSE strategy and define harmonized process, methodology and an optimized tool chain. The project is performed within EESE/Chassis/PT units and led by department Operational Development. We are looking for experienced Simulink developer with background in software engineering, who will work in a pilot project to implement and refine the existing process, method, and tool chain for model based systems design. Main tasks will be design and develop software for electronic control systems, including component-, system-, and function verification.
Skills & Required Experience:
Skills Required:
• Simulink and stateflow - Model based system/function development and verification
Skills Preferred:
• MBD with CM tools such as Subversion
• MIL/SIL and plant modeling
Experience Required:
• 3+ years experience of using Simulink and Matlab for embedded system design and development.
• Good knowledge and experience in model based system/function development, simulation and verificaiton.
• Experience in developing plant models for MIL-simulation.
• Good knowledge about electronics.
Experience Preferred:
• Experience from automotive industry, e.g., from climate, chassis, powertrain, hybrid, active safety, or infotainment.
• Experience of Matlab scripting/programming.
Education Required:
University degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, physics or equal competence level achieved by long term experience.
