At ABB Enterprise Software Sweden, we manage about 20 larger delivery projects of SCADA systems for critical infrastructure on the global arena every year. As System Engineer, you will play a key role in one of our teams.
You will be part of a skilled and engaged team with responsibility for installation, configuration and commissioning of the systems in our delivery projects. This is a varied role where you will manage the complete setup of network configuration, including firewalls, routers, switches, NAT and VPN. Furthermore, you will be responsible for:
• Installation and configuration of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Installation of third party software, used for backups, cyber security and more
• Setup of system administration and security environment including active directory/group policy and user account creation.
It will also be part of your responsibility to create clear, detailed documents of as-build deliverables, including system diagrams, network configuration descriptions, sizing and configuration tables and user policies. Since we have customers and sites all over the world, you will be able expand your network and travel the globe.

You have three years' experience in installation and configuration of networks and servers. It is a merit if you hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science with specialization in Computer Engineering, IS/IT or equivalent. You know what it takes to perform system configuration and parameterization of Linux as well as Windows, and you know how to set up a complete network. Furthermore, you may have worked as a network or IS/IT technician abroad, installing and commissioning client systems. It is also a plus if you have experience in:
• virtual environments, such as vmware and HyperV.
• troubleshooting hardware and network related problems
• configuration of security functions within networks, such as NAC and IPS
• SCADA systems
• SAN solutions.
You are fluent in English and Swedish, both written and spoken.
