What do we offer?
At Body Electronics we are responsible for the vital parts of the electrical system. We create the system specifications for Exterior Light, Sound Signaling and Visibility and develop the body controllers, gateway modules, exterior light control modules and rain sensors. We make impact on the customers experience of a premium car!
We are now looking for a System Developer; you will work in an agile development team responsible for the visibility system for new and existing car models. If you are interested in working cross functional, with the opportunity to support in different job assignment in an open and learning environment, this is a position for you!
The area include functionality for defroster, washer pumps, wipers and vehicle horn used both in normal driving and in autonomous driving.
What you'll do
You will develop system solutions and be responsible for that the solutions fulfil all legal, functional and industrial requirements. You will work close together with component designers to develop state-of-the art systems. In your daily work, you will have technical discussions both within the agile team as well as with suppliers.
You will perform design reviews, FMEA activities, safety analysis and review functional requirements. You will document the system requirements and follow up on progress of implementation and verification.
Do you fit the profile?
You are a self-driven and unpretentious person who like to work together towards a common goal. We see that you have a grade within Electrical, Computer, Engineering Physics or equivalent education. You have some experience from either hardware- or software design or testing.
Further, you possess knowledge in Automotive Functional Safety Standard ISO26262 and of communication protocols; Ethernet, FlexRay, CAN and LIN. Knowledge of CANoe/CANalyzer would be meritorious. You always keep a structured way of doing things and are good at documentation. You are reliable and a skilled communicator, with a result- and business oriented mind-set.
You hold a B driving license and are fluent in English. If you have work with development of software components and applications in MATLAB/Simulink previous, that is a benefit, as well as if you have designed and develop unit test specifications
