This position:
Jeppesen is looking for an experienced and passionate System Analyst. You will be part of a skilled implementation team; solving resource optimization problems, designing and customizing our crew management products for airlines in close cooperation with the client. We see that you will start work as developer during some time to learn our products and the business domain in order to later take a technical or team leadership role. Your tasks will include understanding the client's needs, capturing requirements, writing detailed design specifications, developing software, verifying quality and testing. You will be based in Göteborg and there will be opportunities to travel to our customers from time to time.

Background and experience:
• Excellent software development skills, we expect at least 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Python, shell scripting
• Experience with working within a Linux environment
• Leadership experience - either technical or team
• Ability to work independently and also be a team member
• Fluency in English and strong communication skills
• An analytical approach to problem solving
• An interest for technology as well as human relations
• MSc in Computer Science / Computer Engineering or equivalent

Preferred assets:
• Knowledge of SCM systems such as Mercurial
• Experience from working with large data sets
• Experience with using SQL
• Experience with application development using Java
• Experience of working within a scrum team or in similar agile project setups
