hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Milford Film & Animation AB i Stockholm As system administrator at Milford, your tasks will range from monitoring existing systems (file servers, network performance, firewalls) to explore new ways to improve the infrastructure. You will also be able to assist the artists when they are in need to troubleshoot their workstations.
Candidates need to be organized and able to handle multiple tasks, as they will often address multiple projects at once.
• 10+ years as a Senior System Administrator
• Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing
• Lead technical team in designing, testing and implementing software solutions to help strengthen and automate technology in a Linux environment
• Assist in building up junior employees skill sets in order to strengthen the team as a whole
• 5+ years experience supporting a VFX pipeline
• Knowledge of CI systems such as Jenkins and Gitlab
• Experience using configuration management (Puppet preferred)
• A strong understanding of Linux and in particular Debian
• A strong knowledge of automating cloud environments (Google Cloud experience a plus)
• Advanced understanding of network fundamentals
• MySQL replication, backup and monitoring
• The ability to setup, configure and maintain a robust monitoring and graphing platform
• Proficiencies in scripting languages such as Bash and Python
• Familiarity with version control systems: Git, SVN, HG
• Knowledge of Virtualization and containers (Docker Xenserver etc.)
• Experience administering LDAP
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• A highly drive to complete tasks no matter the obstacles
