About the role
As Djerf Avenue's Sustainability & CSR Manager, you have an important role in inspiring, leading and managing Djerf Avenue to be a more sustainable business. The position is a brand-new role and you will be able to be part of shaping it. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our sustainability strategy. You will monitor and follow up on KPIs and be responsible for communicating about sustainability and CSR internally and externally. You work broadly within the area, primarily from a strategic perspective but also operationally and cross-functionally. As part of the role, you will visit our factories to make sure they are compliant with our CSR and sustainability strategy. This will involve travel, both national and international. You will be based in our office in Stockholm.

• Build partnerships and networks with for example our factories to support sustainability efforts and product development.
• Identify opportunities and execute ideas and projects for the company to improve its sustainability performance
• Lead and work on larger projects within innovation. e.g. finding new materials, etc.
• Assist in quality controls, testing, and scouring of sustainable materials
• Develop and be responsible for policies, CSR documents, action plans, quality requirements, and manuals for internal and external use.
• Track and report on progress against sustainability goals
• Provide strategic advice on sustainability issues in business modeling, vision, and strategy work, as well as operational support in sustainability issues
• Conduct CSR audits and the annual Sustainability Report
• Investigate potential company certifications
• Constantly keeping up to date with trends, new knowledge, new technology, laws, restrictions, etc., and passing it on to management and employees
• Understand and analyze the company's sustainability impact across all business functions
Who we are looking for
Sustainability is very important and permeates everything that we do. Therefore, you are a resourceful and innovative person who dares to think of new things and test ideas that no one else has tried before. That you are passionate about sustainability goes without saying. You have solid experience working strategically as well as operationally in the area of sustainability and CSR in the textile/fashion industry. You have experience in setting up a strategic sustainability function, developing sustainability concepts to support business activities, and project management. You bring a hands-on attitude and a generalist mindset with the ability to work across business areas and functions. You enjoy sharing your knowledge with others and collaborating to achieve set goals. You are prestigeless, inclusive, and development-driven in harmony with the constantly changing world around you. Furthermore, you are a skilled strategist who strongly wants to work operationally, and you thrive in a role with many contact points. You are used to taking initiative and focusing on results and finishing the projects you start and lead.
Qualifications
• Relevant academic degree, preferably within textiles.
• At least 5 years of extensive experience working with sustainability and CSR in the textile/fashion industry.
• Knowledge of laws and restrictions in the textile industry
• You have great communication skills and are fluent in English, both written and spoken
• You have a strong ability to tolerate ambiguity and the ability to shift priorities to the most important task at hand
• You have a strong sense of ownership and accountability for the successful delivery of your tasks
