Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Sustainability Manager to join us. As a Sustainability Manager, you will report to the Head of Group Sustainability and work closely with the H&M Brand Managing Director. You will be responsible for integrating sustainability into the H&M Brand's plans and customer offers based on the Group Sustainability Strategy. You will also develop and secure sustainability capacity in the Brand teams and set and drive brand-specific sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Integrate sustainability into brand plans and customer offer based on the Group Sustainability Strategy
Develop and secure sustainability capacity in the Brand teams
Set and drive brand-specific sustainability goals in collaboration with the Brand management team
Ensure follow-up of sustainability goals within the brand (function and markets)
Lead Sustainability Managers on brand functions
Act as a spokesperson for the H&M Brand perspective in Group Sustainability and secure strategy alignment
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field
Strong collaboration skills, networking skills, and ability to find the right co-partners within the organization
Experience in leadership roles and informal leadership skills
Interest and knowledge of sustainability
Trustworthy and authoritative in the sustainability area
Ability to plan for the long-term and adapt actions accordingly to achieve desired results
Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate knowledge, ideas, and insights clearly and directly
Sales-driven and customer-focused with a focus on the commercial effects of decisions
Ability to think outside the box and envision the futur
