IT Support Specialist
We are currently looking for three IT Support Specialists to Volvo Group IT in Skövde. You will get the chance to join our driven Time Critical Remote Support team as one of our IT Support Specialist, with 12 highly motivated members in total. We always walk the extra mile to get the job done, and passion is one of our core values. The team works closely with the production environment to make sure that any disturbances are solved as quickly as possible or directed to proper team for resolution. About the job:
As a part of our team your primary work is to handle phone calls from Time Critical sites both in Sweden as well as other countries globally as 1st line support. You will ensure that the calls are responded to in an efficient way, that users are treated in professional manner and together in the team strive towards top class customer service.

Our job is an important part of the bigger picture; IT incidents that might affect the production or business are important and thanks to us the incidents are handled with high priority and it's you as a Remote Support agent who will make the prioritization. Therefore, you must be able to prioritize between issues, based on business criticality as well as take full responsibility of the cases or orders that are assigned to you. You communicate with colleagues in English through voice, chat, e-mail and incident management system.

Some of your tasks include:
• Direct contact with users in the factory environment
• Provide 1st line support to end users as well as support 2nd and 3rd line teams with problem identification and resolution
• Drive the identification and escalation of problems in supported services and solutions
• Drive knowledge management and the documentation of known errors and workarounds
• Contribute to discussions on methods to improve team efficiency and delivery quality
• Work according to Lean and drive the quality work

We are looking for both junior and senior Support Specialists
As Junior Support Specialist you will be a Remote Support Agent and as Senior Support Specialist you will also be able to proactive drive, take on additional tasks and work independently in projects and other assignments.

About you:
We expect you to have an IT related degree from university studies or alternatively equivalent work experience, and have 2-5 years of experience from handling IT and/or technical related support. We see that you have to thrive in a role as support specialist and have a positive mindset and a structured approach when facing challenges. Our team is our family; therefore we see that you are a team player who can work proactively and identify improvements in order to make us better. With your strong customer focus and being service minded you will fit right in among us. To be successful you have the ability to prioritize and drive your work independently, following our business goals. Your sense of urgency and ability to solve problems will be in your advantage. If you have earlier experience from production environment and/or attending projects this would be beneficial.

Important for the position:
• 2-5 years of experience from Service Desk or similar
• Documented experience working with customer interactions/contacts
• Very good knowledge in Active Directory
• Knowledge of Lean Management
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Driver 's license

About the employment:
• Two of these positions will be working 24*7*365 schedules, including on call
• One position will be working daytime scheduled time (08:00-16:42) but that might also include on call.
