Are you looking for an opportunity to grow and engage your negotiation and supplier management skills in a global environment? Come join the Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions Supplier Management team in Lund.

We offer a creative and stimulating international work environment. In order to achieve superior performance of the Component Suppliers within Supply Chain Operations Capital Equipment in terms of quality, delivery and cost we work in teams with colleagues from other functions i.e. product development, industrialisation and order fulfillment for production and spare parts.

As Supply Manager you have the commercial responsibility to develop the business relations with suppliers within a selection of component categories. You will get stimulation working towards set targets where you can influence the activities and results. The job will require some international travelling.

In this position you will have a functional responsibility but not any direct reports.

Main responsibilities
• Sourcing, contracting and maintaining a supplier base in-line with business requirements
• Creating and implementing Category Strategies for the defined Component Categories
• Securing Risk Management with Contingency plans and back-up supply solutions
• Driving Performance Improvements focusing on quality, lead time and cost
• Driving a common agenda with the supplier base, defining agreement on cooperation expectations between Tetra Pak and the Suppliers

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with a high level of commercial and negotiating skills. In your work you are structured and have an analytical mindset. You possess a high level of drive and energy as well as a good business understanding and an ability to collaborate with people on all levels of the organisation. In addition you are a team player with strong communication and presentation skills and the passion to do business.

We believe the successful candidate has a University degree in Business Administration or Engineering. A minimum of 2-3 years experience from supplier management with commercial responsibility including contract negotiation and supplier relationship management is required. Previous experience in one or more of the following areas is highly valued: LEAN Production, software purchasing, advanced cost analysis methodology and/or SAP R/3. A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
