You will be part of HVDC within the Power Systems division in Ludvika. The HVDC technology has been on the market for the past 60 years and is used to transmit power over long distances with minimal losses, using overhead lines, underground and submarine cable systems. Tasks:
The challenge: HVDC Products has responsibility for the design and manufacturing of semiconductor-based converter valves for HVDC plants all over the world.

As Supply Chain Manager you will lead our supply department, both operational and strategic. You will report to the Head of HVDC Products and you will also be a part of the management team. Your task will be to provide the right material on time to the agreed cost. You will also have an important role to establish new routines for material planning and purchasing preparation.

The requirements:
You have a relevant university degree, preferably within Engineering. It is advantageous if you have experience from supply management within production. You have managerial experience.

On a personal level, you have genuine interest in people and have the ability to encourage your coworkers and make them committed. You are an experienced negotiator who enjoys doing business and you have a clear cost focus. Finally, you are target-oriented and focused on achieving results with your team.
