With over 25 years of Controller Area Network (CAN) development experience and more than 30 CAN-related products to our name, Kvaser has deep knowledge of CAN and related bus technologies. Whilst Kvaser’s R&D and production is carried out in Sweden, our standard products are available through a network of Qualified Sales Representatives, all knowledgeable in the design of embedded control systems. Kvaser also offers development services for OEM projects. Kvaser has offices in Sweden, USA and in China.
Work description
You are responsible for leading and developing Supply Chain within Kvaser AB, which includes internal and external logistics, warehouse, planning , purchase and production.
The products are produced in Sweden with a global delivery all over the world.
Supply Chain operates in close cooperation with both external and internal partners.
As Supply Chain Director, you will be responsible for development of logistics and purchasing as well as leading the daily operations while building an effective structure for cooperation between the production units and sales. You will actively work to develop operational delivery and exploit local and global synergies. You are part of the management team and reports to the CEO.
Who are you?
You should have a bachelor degree in logistics or equivalent and 5 years experience working within the Supply Chain field. Experience from business within electronic manufacturing or equal is a merit.
You have the ability to communicate effectively and have excellent networking skills. You identify problems and solutions, including risk calculation. You have a structured approach, analytical skills and you are goal targeted. In negotiation you think long-term, you have excellent skills in excel and you are fluent in both English and Swedish.
