hela Sverige In line with the Volvo Group CFO decision to consolidate the financial reporting activities and processes for all units and entities in the Volvo Group, GBS has established a Consolidation & Financial Control unit within Group Accounting & Internal Control. The responsibility is to execute the consolidation for the total Volvo Group and to deliver Management reports for all Business Areas/Group Truck divisions. Group Accounting & Internal Control is part of the Global & Regional Delivery.
The SME for Inventory should hold deep knowledge of the Volvo accounting policies and procedures related to Inventory and contribute to the closing of Volvo Group's books in that specific field. The position will also hold the responsibility of securing the accuracy and completeness within the area of responsibility.
The SME should actively drive and secure that there is alignment between Truck divisions and Business Areas within the Volvo Group in the specific accounting area for which he/she is responsible.
The SME should have a deep knowledge about the Group Consolidation system (BCS) to be able to evaluate the system capability in relation business requirements.
A prerequisite for success is accuracy, ability to work towards fixed time plans and to develop and maintain an effective cooperation with different functions within Finance.
As a SME Inventory within Consolidation & Financial Control, GA&IC at Business Services your work will be led by the Global SME Manger, while functionally reporting to the Manager Consolidation & Financial Control Region EMEA North. The position requires active co-operation with all BA's and Group Truck Divisions as well as Group Financial Control and Corporate Reporting.

Responsibilities
• To hold deep knowledge of the Volvo Group Accounting policies for Inventory
• To secure that the accounting is performed in a harmonized and standardized way thru out all companies within the Volvo Group related to Inventory
• Actively contribute to the development of efficient ways of working to secure that the Volvo Group accounting principles are fulfilled
• Contribute to a culture aimed at giving a strong image of the function and being in line with Volvo Group values and principles (The Volvo Way, Code of Conduct, etc)
• Efficiently cooperate with the different functions within Finance, Business Services and external auditors
• Single point of contact for all Volvo companies within areas of expertise
Qualifications
• University Degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• Strong Accounting skills / financial reporting experience
• Solid knowledge and experience from Inventory accounting
• Experience in consolidation
• Ability to work both independently as well as in global teams
• Capable of driving your own work in the field
• Ability to effectively spread knowledge to others
• Business understanding and customer focus
• Fluent in English both verbal and written
• Excellent knowledge in MS Office applications, BCS and BEX
