We are looking for a person who is experienced in our area and have a big interest of working strategically to developing this function together with us.

Our mission is to become the undisputed market leader in mining and construction segments by offering a superior value proposition for each segment. This will be done by addressing each segments key purchasing decision criteria when selecting partners in the drilling tools business.
The role as a Strategic Business Development Manager offers a unique opportunity to develop our value proposition as well as aligning our activities between different functions in the company such as business development, product marketing, R&D and supply chain. It offers exposure to the Epiroc organization worldwide through frequent interaction with customer centers and end customers. Together, we will develop the role to provide opportunities within all marketing areas where we see opportunities to further support our growth ambitions.
Job description
As a Strategic Business Development Manager, you will be a part of an experienced group where you get the opportunity to make difference. You have the main responsibility for contributing with strategic initiative for Top Hammer where you will grow the market share and improve profitability for Top Hammer equipment and develop sales tools and training packages to support sales and marketing of drilling tools
You will work closely with capital division to create a business model which include rock drilling tools in all equipment offering and safeguard high hit rate on tools included in capital deals. Develop new marketing and sales strategies for defined products and execute technical product training and value-based sales training globally to our business line managers, technical- and sales staff is part of your mission.
This role will also include support product managers with input on required product development and CPI activities, support product manager in product launches and actively participate in product launches towards customer centers and end customers. As a Business Development Manager, you will define growth strategies per market focusing on Top hammer equipment, Co-ordinate site tests for different products.
Your profile
To be a perfect fit for this position you should have minimum 7 years' experience and knowledge of the Rock drilling tools business and products with focus on Top Hammer. Extensive field experience is required to be successful in this role. Fluent English skills, oral and written is necessary.
This role includes multiple contact surfaces both within the division and with other divisions. Very good communication skills together with the ability to "dare to think new" will therefore be key behaviors for this position. We are looking for someone who can be able to influence others within the organization through strong and passionate leadership supported by deep product knowledge. Someone who valuate collaboration and together with others reach new ways of thinking.
Location and travel
This position is based in Fagersta, but you can work from other TLD-divisions in Sweden. Traveling is a part in this position and under normal circumstances you will be traveling globally for about 50-70 days/year.
