Do you want to be part of a professional and high-achieving team in a global context? Then perhaps this is your new challenge! SSAB Special Steels is looking for a proactive, digitally skilled, and development-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our Customer Networks team.
This is an entry-level role designed to be a stepping stone into SSAB's Market & Sales organization, offering strong support from senior colleagues and a clear path for future growth. If you're eager to build competence and take on broader roles in the coming years, this is the opportunity for you!
Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. A journey that we believe is essential for the sustainability of this planet. Steel has been one of the most important materials for developing our society and it will continue to be so. In the roofs over our heads, in the bridges connecting our cities and in the cars of tomorrow. At SSAB we are proud of our history and leadership in high-strength steel. But we are also aware that the production of steel is one of the largest emitters of greenhouse gases in the world. That has to change. That is why we have developed the world's first fossil free steel production and has committed to becoming largely fossil-free. As part of SSAB you will be instrumental in realizing this goal and push for the green transformation of the whole steel industry.
About the position
As Junior Project Manager, you will coordinate and execute a wide variety of tasks-some complex, others operational and hands-on. A key focus will be developing our customer training offering, while also contributing to the broader development of our overall offering to the customer networks members. You'll collaborate with a wide network of stakeholders across SSAB and engage directly with our customers.
Main responsibilities
Finalize and evaluate the digital training pilot for Hardox® Wearparts and support participating customers.
After the successful launch of the pilot, you will be responsible for the conceptualization, development and continuous evolution of the whole digital training for Hardox® Wearparts members.
Create digital and on-site training content with internal experts and external consultants, including building digital training modules.
Plan trainings for customers at our mills in collaboration with Business Development Managers.
Lead and support strategic development projects such as CRM updates and concept creation.

About You
Bachelor or Master of Science, or other relevant education.
0 - 3 years of work experience, ideally in project coordination, market development, digital tools, or customer-facing roles.
Digitally competent and quick to learn new systems and tools.
Structured and organized - able to keep track of multiple major and minor activities and projects simultaneously.
You proactively move things forward, ask for support when needed, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Independent and proactive - you take initiative, make decisions, request support when needed, and consistently drive progress.
A collaborative mindset and ability to connect effectively across teams and cultures, with great relationship-building skills.

Our offer
At SSAB we strive for a diverse and inclusive environment. We use our values - driven, true and ahead - in making everyday decisions, keeping the customer at the heart of what we do. This makes us all team players, each with the drive to improve. When joining SSAB you will become part of an organization of passionate problem solvers working together on important challenges. We will support your growth by providing a safe and friendly workplace that contributes to work-life balance. If you set out to achieve it, at SSAB you will have the possibility of broadening your skills and grow within your field or beyond.
