This is what you are going to do
You, our hopefully soon to be colleague, will take the lead in driving procurement segments within Fresh Fruit Supply in Middle East. You will have segment country purchasing responsibility focusing on areas such as optimizing the supplier base, securing competitive and quality asserted agreements, developing best practice purchasing processes. You will also drive continuous improvement within your procurement portfolio and by that you will influence your segment performance. In other words, you will strengthen Fresh Fruit Supplies competitive advantage by understanding the business needs and the supplier market. Since you are responsible for a number of procurement segments, including among others: fruits, vegetables, drinks and meat, your focus will be to develop and ensure implementation of a the Middle East purchasing strategy

Who are you?
Master degree in Science, Economy or Business Administration
Excellent in spoken as well as written Arabic and English (additional languages - French - are given merit)
Experienced of working with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
Preferably, of proven procurement background & experience (at least 3 years) in any sector (Food sector is preferred)
International experience is meriting
Business acumen
