We are now looking for a Solution Specialist to join the New Solutions Initiatives team within the Products & CTO organization. New Solutions Initiatives are managing Axis body worn solutions. https://www.axis.com/en-us/solutions/body-worn-solutions. The position is at Axis HQ in Lund.

THE NEW SOLUTIONS INITIATIVES ORGANISATION
Our main focus is to plan, develop and manage Axis body worn solutions. Our scope includes e.g. portfolio planning, product planning, managing the products' life cycle, education & training and handling of complex support issues. Our interfaces are both internal such as R&D, Operations, Sales and Marketing as well as external customers, partners and suppliers.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
As Solution Specialist in New Solutions Initiatives you will work in an engaged team. You will be managing the life cycle of the body worn solution together with the team. Axis body worn solutions includes hardware, firmware, mobile apps, management software and services. Most of the products and functionality you will be working with are developed in our own projects, where you will be expected to provide expert input on customer needs, as well be a represent for product management. You will also be responsible for handling complex support cases escalated from our local support teams worldwide.

Your work can be divided into four general areas:

* Drive competence: Create training materials, run product training sessions and write technical notes, FAQs, etc.
* Solve customer cases: Solve and prioritize support cases of a high complexity, either on your own, or in close cooperation with Axis engineers or external suppliers.
* Take part in the development of new products/functionality, as an expert on customer needs, expectations and requirements. This includes involvement in internal projects, product documentation and meetings with external partners.
* Maintain and develop product functionality: Identify new requirements and areas which cause problems, maintain existing product functionality, assist in pre-sales issues, etc.

The role involves travelling, up to 25 days per year.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for a driven and structured individual with experience and talent in problem solving. We believe you have a service minded attitude and that you are practical when it comes to technical matters, as you will need to do hands-on product testing and product evaluation. It is of great value if you have technical knowledge and experience from working with Axis solutions, video management systems, mobile devices, and IP video technology.

You have great social skills and an ability to manage and perform in a multi-cultural environment with international contacts. You are always open to customers and colleagues, contributing to a good team spirit and a productive environment.

Furthermore, we believe you have:

* At least 5 years work experience.
* Experience working with customers/system integrators/technical support.
* A pedagogic approach, both spoken and written, when explaining technical matters
* A deep understanding of technical matters and preferably experience of test procedures, trouble-shooting and product evaluation.
* Software development experience is an advantage since this if useful when trouble-shooting complex product issues.
* Interest in and experience of documentation, including creating educational videos, reviewing manuals and guides, internal support documentation etc.
* Excellent English skills, written and verbal.
* Swedish language skills: not essential, but a distinct advantage.
