We are looking for 2 Solution Engineers/Business Analysts.
In the Customs portfolio, we enable trade between countries, for the Volvo Group. As Solution Engineer you will be part of a global solution team, who is responsible for the full solution life management cycle. You will act as the link between the business stakeholders and solution management/IT development for your solution, to male sure we provide the right solutions and the right expertise.
One of you, will also take on a more general role, for the whole Customs area.
Your Responsibilities
As Solution Engineer you interact with various team members and business stakeholders, as well as with the vendors, to identify needs and to provide the right solutions and expertise.
You will take the lead in delivering the solution that best supports business requirements, using the most suited technologies, products and platforms.
To do so, you balance various aspects of the delivery, from end to end, as well as pro-actively research advanced technology, to find the best practices in the field and seek to find cost-effective solutions.
As part of the Group IT's Digital Transformation, we are in a journey towards a more agile, product oriented way of working, where the goal is to work with a DevOps mindset and shortened time to market for our applications. You will be a vital part of that transformation, contributing to the journey ahead.
Your profile
Proven experience from working as a Software Engineer/Business Analyst
Experienced in working in an agile set-up, using DevOps or similar methodologies
Used to work with bought solutions, connecting to vendors as needed
A good understanding of both business and IT
Insights and knowledge in the customs area will be considered an advantage
Proficiency in English which enables you to take part in international projects
University degree in Computer Science, Logistics or similar
Location: Gothenburg
Travel required: Occasionally
