As part of our new stand-alone company Ewellix, a new IT department is built up. Do you want to be part of a journey that just begun? This is a new role where you will join a growing IT-team consisting of 10 colleagues, a team that strives to make each other better by sharing knowledge and expertise. What you will do
You will act as the technical system & integration expert to provide recommendations and design proposals for development design, system architecture and system interfaces. You are responsible for identifying and incorporating both technical and functional requirements of new demands. You collaborate closely with other members of the IT team, internal stakeholders and external suppliers for technical requirements engineering, solution architecture, evaluation of design proposals and actively participating in the implementation of new system solutions. As part of the system lifecycle management, you will act as the owner of the Business Applications architecture documentation, solution & technical roadmaps as well as ensuring the on-going architectural governance of the ERP- and related system environments. Assessing risk factors and limitations of current systems identifying areas of opportunity for improving both the functional experience and system performance.
Ewellix is operating in a system environment with growing integration complexity, where you will take the lead in managing the integration portfolio, consisting of both internal system-to-system communication or EDI transactions with external parties. This requires among other things, the implementation and maintenance of interface standards formats and coordinating with external parties and integration service providers. You will also be an important resource in ensuring that the technical infrastructure used to operate our Business Applications by external sourcing partners and cloud providers is fully aligned with functional requirements and the demands of the organization for availability and performance.
What experience do you have
• Solid understanding of technology, complex systems and software development
• Experience in system architecture/design of business system solutions
• Strong expertise in business & technical aspects bringing perspectives from all architecture domains into the system solution & integration design
• Experience in developing integrated system solutions
• Good understanding of IT infrastructure & Cloud-operations
• Master/Bachelor's degree in Computer science (or equivalent)
• Highly proficient in spoken and written English

Who we are
The IT department is located at the head office in new premises, about 8 minutes from Gothenburg Central Station. As the Architect, you will have one of the key positions in the Business Applications team and report to Business Application Manager, Linda Andersson. Ewellix is a global company and some travel over multiple continents is to be expected.
