To achieve this, we need a passionate and experienced Software Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen our teams and this is where you come in.
The Opportunity
As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be a member of our SCRUM or KANBAN teams and participate in all phases of development, from defining requirements to final product and maintenance.
Your main task will be Exploratory-, Integration-, System-, Regression testing of all kinds of modules and functions on the Beijer Electronics proprietary HMI Products. The testing is done on a system level and executed either manually or automatically through the support of C# scripting or other testing tools. Experience working in a mixed manual and automated test environment is therefore essential.
In addition to this your responsibilities will include:
• Validate the quality of the SW deliveries from different R&D Projects
• Develop new test cases, both automated and manual
• Help the Support team with incoming support cases
• Plan and report test status within the development projects
• Work with continuous improvements of test environment and processes to achieve higher quality in a shorter time.
The successful applicant
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Software Quality Assurance Engineer ready for the next step in your career. You have at least three-five years of work experience within relevant areas. We require a technical secondary education with a first degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Automatic Control or similar. ISQTB or similar professional certification will be an added advantage.
In addition to this we see you have work experience from:
• Programming of PLC- & HMI- applications
• Familiarity with Serial & Ethernet based communication protocols
• C# .NET programming
• Development of automated tests
• Experience with SpecFlow & Gherkin Docker
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
Since we work in an international environment, excellent knowledge of both written and spoken English is a prerequisite. Communication in Swedish is an advantage but not a requirement. We require that you are eligible to live and work in Sweden.
