This is a highly collaborative role where you will be part of our server team partnering closely with QA, Python- and C++ programmers. We have been working with a live game for years and know how to do it with a sustainable work-life balance. One of our challenges for this year is to scale our game servers to fit an even larger player base. As Software Engineer at Star Stable:
You will be part of our server team, who works with the aim to scale and maintain our game server to be fit for a larger player base. We are a passionate and diverse team who love to solve our problems together and often pair-program and have a knowledge sharing culture and feedback in form of design and code reviews on a regular basis.
Our stack includes C++, Python, Docker, Perforce, AWS, Git and Jenkins.
Who are you?
We think you care about high-quality code and have experience from working closely with other engineers to ensure systems are designed for reliability. It's great if you have worked with network programming and have experience in shipping multiplayer games. You know how to implement game servers using microservices and have worked with iterative software development and incremental deliveries.

Tech:
• Fluent in C++
• Experience from Game development
• Experience of developing for multiple platforms ( MacOS, iOS, Linux and Windows.)
• Knowledge of relational databases is a plus
