The Crowdsource Team
The Crowdsource team is a product delivery team that today consists of 4 developers, a Product Designer, an Engineering Manager and a Product Manager. The team is first of all responsible for making sure that the members of the Detectify Crowdsource community - our network of ethical hackers - are engaged and enjoying the best possible experience when collaborating with Detectify. The team is also responsible for maximizing the value that our community brings to Detectify's customers.
We aim for the best possible discovery performance with comprehensive coverage of content optimizing for flow, fast feedback and quality. We follow lean and DevOps concepts, aiming to be innovative, helpful, and have a strong sense of ownership for all the things we build. Our team is a fun and engaging environment where we can have unfiltered and passionate discussions that help us to learn and grow together.
What you'll get to do
You will play a significant part in taking our product area to the next level by forming data-driven innovative solutions to achieve a world class user experience. As a Senior engineer at Detectify you will have a big impact on the architecture within your domain as well as across teams.
More specifically, in our cross-functional domain team you will get to
Collaborate with designers, product managers, researchers, and data analysts in a dynamic and empowered product-driven environment
Drive architecture together with your team within your domain and contribute to decisions across team
Use the latest technologies to solve real problems for our users
Explore modern software development methods
Participate in cross team efforts to improve our architecture or development environment.
Technologies you will get your hands on:
Event-based microservices architecture on AWS
Frontend technologies: Redux, styled-component, GraphQL
Modern development tools: React, Typescript, CDP, Golang, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, etc
Who you are
You love to work in a highly collaborative environment and enjoy learning together with your fellow team members. Pair programming or even mob programming is within your preferred toolbox. You are comfortable working in the entire stack even if you have a preference in the frontend. You have substantial experience in working in a micro service architecture. You have experiences in architectural paradigms such as Domain driven design, and CQRS using methods like event storming.
You typically come from a background where you are used to working with SaaS products using microservices at scale in a cloud first environment, having experience in modern agile product development environments.
You like to set and achieve your own ambitious goals and solve complicated technical problems with a team full of creative problem solvers. You think it's meaningful to continuously evaluate and reflect on the team's solutions and think outside of the box to help the team solve hard problems with smart and simple solutions.
