UIQ Technology,established in 1999 in Sweden, is an independant software provider to the world's leading mobile phone manufacturers. The company develops UIQ, an open user-interface and application development platform that is flexible and customizable. UIQ Technology is currently owned by Sony Ericsson and Motorola which each have a 50% stake in UI Holdings.
About the position:
We are looking for skilled software engineersto be part of our growing team and continue to developing the UIQ Platform, which incorporates the latest technologies, standards and UI design for
upcoming mobile phone releases.
Your tasks will include software design, implementation and unit testing of application and framework components, depending on your interest and experience. We work tightly together in small teams
and always strive to deliver the highest quality to our clients. To complete the UIQ Platform we use CodeWarrior/C++ for Symbian OS in a Windows based environment.
Education: 
A university degreein Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or in a related field is required, as is the following:
• Experience in object oriented analysis and design,
• Writing and understanding English.
We invite graduates, skilled developers, and senior developers with software engineering skills in C++, Java or .NET to apply for these positions. Experience from Symbian C++ programming is
qualifying, although not required for all positions.
