We are looking for newly graduates or up to 3 years of experienced Software Developers with a passion for software design, that enjoys challenges and are eager to explore new technologies that will enable our vision within the Network Society and Internet of Things (IoT).
As a person, you are social, curious, want to make things happen and are keen to learn and improve things. You are interested in people, have good communication skills and want to have fun at work.

You will be working in a cross-functional team developing Open Source based middleware services that will be used in multiple echo systems both native and cloud also including deployments in our new micro services area. Our teams are cross-functional, self-organizing, international and highly independent. You'll be working directly with your Product Owner and stakeholders in a collaborative manner. The team has an end-to-end responsibility, from requirements breakdown, prototyping, implementing, design and modeling, test automation, integration and troubleshooting all the way to supporting applications around the world.

Our Unit

Our Product Development Unit provide all the common building blocks needed to enable our application to meet todays and tomorrow's needs, e.g. Cloud and Internet of Things deployments in the Networked Society. We are thereby a corner stone of the Ericsson strategy. Reuse is an important factor in this, thus we are engaged and contributes in Open Source communities.
We have a highly international environment with possibility for collaboration with our Research & Development centers all around the world.
We are located in Kista, Stockholm with Software design centers in Montreal, Budapest and Pagani.
We collaborate with suppliers in Australia, Vietnam, Russia and India.
We work in cross functional teams utilizing Lean/Agile, Scrum/Kanban, Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery methodologies, where we continuously improve our tools and ways of working. We are always eager to take in new ideas that will increase our product and development performance.

To be a successful candidate you have:

MSc/BSc level in Computer Science or the equivalent level of knowledge
Experience of programming in C as well as Object Oriented languages such as C++
Good cooperation & communication skills and ability to work in teams with diverse background
Excellent skills in spoken and written English

Good to have:
Experience in open source development
Interest in software architecture design
Python, Perl, Bash or other shell scripting
Experience of Linux based high availability systems
Distributed systems/clusters, virtualization- and container technologies, such as KVM and Docker
