Their companies develop, produce and market a complete range of unique solutions for optimized battery chargers, power supplies and modular lithium-ion batteries. The headquarters are located in Växjö as well as the majority of production and other departments. Located in Gothenburg, Micropower Sweden AB is an R&D branch within the group that focus on the development of lithium-ion batteries. To continue their expanse, they are looking for their new technical colleagues to contribute to their growth. Tasks and responsibilities:
As an Embedded Software Engineer your main focus is to design and implement the software of embedded devices that manage the lithium-ion batteries and power supplies. This entails tasks as developing, testing and debugging software - while making efficient use of system resources. You work closely together with colleagues in Gothenburg and Växjö and have a close collaboration with the customers to create software requirements and realise them in design, implementation and testing. As you grow in your role you will become an important part of the company and will be expected to contribute to the continuous development of the products and business.
Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:
• Master of Science in Embedded Software or equivalent experience
• Some years of development experience, preferably in C and C++
• You are fluent in English, Swedish is meritorious
• Previous experience within battery development is meritorious
We believe you are a curious person with a wide technical interest. You are used to taking responsibility for your own work and can plan your tasks in an efficient way. Your technical interest means that you are always on the lookout for new technology. You see problems as a puzzle to be solved and strives to use your own experience as well as collaborate with others to find new solutions. You respect the importance of structure in your work and you are methodical and systematic. It is meritorious if you have previous experience from a start-up company as this mindset truly permeate Micropower Sweden AB. A lot of consideration will be taken to the personal qualities for this role.
