Software Coordinator - Powertrain
At RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT you will be a key contributor to the next generation outstanding luxury cars from Volvo. Together with other engineers around the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people. As SOFTWARE COORDINATOR - POWERTRAIN within the group Control Module you will work with control systems for petrol engines which involves ensuring of requirements for software and hardware. You will work in close contact with subcontractors, project managers and suppliers and you will get a comprehensive view of the technology and the different car projects. As the role involves coordination and technical administration, you should have a strong ability to communicate and to structure your work. The position will also implicate a broad network and an opportunity for personal development in an international atmosphere.
Job profile:
• Collecting all data and code modules
• Create the final software that is sent to the supplier
• Lead calibration change meetings with calibration leaders and project leaders
• Ensure that the software is released in time and is available in the factory system
• Administrate the software release process for car series in the factory
• Update change orders for car series production
• Create special software for rig engines
Your profile:
• University degree of Engineering or equivalent
• Experience of systems as DTECS, INCA and KDP is an advantage
• Enterprising and good ability to work independently
• Very good ability to plan and structure the work
• Open-minded and a team player
• Fluent in English, spoken and written
• Driving license
