We are seeking a best-in-class experienced Software Automation Engineer to join Procera's engineering department. We are looking for awesome people to add to our already amazing team of engineers. Depending on the candidate, the position will either involve ownership of the development and maintenance of Procera's automated test infrastructure, or share in that responsibility with other senior test automation engineers. The position will also involve development of automated tests, and test tools as required for use by the larger QA group. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop new automated test cases, as well as incorporate tests created by others into the common automation framework
• Maintain and update existing automated tests within the framework
• Port tools/tests that have been written outside the framework into the common automation framework
• Assist with field projects from time to time, that may require automation and/or manual testing
• Assist with general manual testing from time to time, as required
• Identify areas for automation, collect test data requirements, develop new test metrics and techniques to maximize testing efficiency and scalability
• Develop, maintain and execute automated testing tools for functional, acceptance, integration, regression, system and performance testing

Qualifications/Requirements:
• BSc or Master?s Degree in Computer Science
• Have previous experience being an automation engineer or lead automator.
• Excellent and demonstrable Python skills
• Excellent networking knowledge (TCP/IP and Layer 7 applications, other communication protocols in LAN/WAN environments; familiar with using routers, switches and firewalls)
• Networking tool familiarity (Wireshark, tcpdump, etc)
• Very good Linux admin knowledge
• Good knowledge of SQL and different web-frameworks(example Django)
• Experience on continuous integration concepts, tools (e.g. Jenkins), and best practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. English is our corporate language, so it's important
• Proven teamwork and collaboration skills
• An overall passion to be a key contributor and create products that truly WOW customers and improve their lives

This postion will be located at our office in Varberg.
