SingleView Solutions Architect
Roles and Responsibilities
Alto Minerva IT AB is currently seeking an experienced SingleView Solutions Architect to provide IT consulting and systems development services to our clients in the telecommunications industry. The successful candidate will fill the role of a lead architect and developer in a billing development team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Delivering billing solutions that meet business requirements
• Liaising with senior management and stakeholders.
• Providing impact assessment and estimates for work packages.
• Managing and resolving billing issues.
• Managing and mentoring other developers.
Experience and Qualifications
• Typically 10 years' experience in the IT or telecommunications industry.
• Minimum 5 years' experience working with SingleView at a senior developer or solutions architect level.
• Experience in gathering and analyzing business and functional requirements.
• Experience in formulating high-level solution architecture, as well as detailed solution design.
• Experience in specifying system interfaces and conducting systems integration.
• Experience in planning functional, systems and performance testing.
• Experience in support and defects management.
• Experience in managing customer relationship and expectations.
• Bachelor or higher degree in a science, engineering or business discipline.
Knowledge and Skills
The successful candidate shall have expert knowledge in the following areas:
• Processes and issues within the telecommunications industry.
• BSS / OSS solutions and applications.
• Enterprise architecture and systems integration.
• Software development life cycle.
• The SingleView implementation library and development tools.
• The SingleView Commerce Engine and HA/DA solution.
• Configuration management and environment support
• TIBCO EAI.
• Oracle: SQL, database administration, application development, performance tuning.
• BEA Tuxedo: administration, development and trouble shooting.
• EPM, Perl, C/C++, Java, shell scripts.
• XML technologies.
• Unix, Linux, Microsoft Windows.
Other skills and qualities:
• Good communications skills, both technical and interpersonal.
• Fluent in spoken and written English
• Strong leadership skills.
• Excellent analytical ability and problem solving skills.
• Highly developed project management skills.
• Proven ability to deliver to the customer.
• Willingness to take responsibility and ownership.
• Enthusiastic about technology.
Location and Travel
The position is based in Stockholm, but the successful candidate must be willing to travel overseas on work assignments.
Duration
6 months, with the possibility of extending to a longer period.
