Powertrain Engineering PSD Combustion is looking for a simulation engineer.
THIS IS US, YOUR NEW COLLEAGUES
At Powertrain Strategic Development (PSD), we perform the early development of Powertrain System concepts. We also explore new technologies and build strategic knowledge with research centers, universities, suppliers and other areas of the organization globally.
The Combustion group provides expertise in the area of combustion system development, engine system solutions and testing methodologies. The in-cylinder process is at the heart of the engine and enables the energy conversion from chemical energy into mechanical energy.
ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Simulation & Analysis Engineer your main responsibilities are:
Deliver quality assured calculation models and results
Demonstrate fidelity towards experimental validation data
Communicate conclusions and make recommendations
Work on continuous improvement of methods and tools
Bring new ideas and alternatives solutions
Establish close collaboration with experts from different disciplines within and outside Combustion area
Manage local and global network across the organization
WHO ARE YOU?
Qualifications:
Bachelor or Master of Science in Engineering
Related experience in the automotive industry is an advantage
Passionate about simulation activities
Programming skills is an advantage
Fluent in English, written and spoken
Personal competences: teamwork, communication, customer focus, proactive, analytical skills,ownership, accountability
