About the role
We are now looking for extra staff for our Uppsala shop to cover up and work extra hours in daytime/evening and weekends. We are looking for someone who may be studying and wants to have an extra job alongside their studies. Your task in the shop is to create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for customers and give the best service to our customers.
To fit the role you are a person who has an interest and/or knowledge about our products and brands. You always act professionally when meeting clients and you are an orderly and committed person who thinks sales and customer service is fun. You like working in a small team and you keep the shop clean and neat at all times. The role of shop assistant requires that you are a flexible person who takes initiative, are energetic and get things done.
Job specification
Our customer base is wide and we have a distinctly British concept and profile. This is why we require knowledge about our products and fluency in English. The ability to speak Swedish is also a requirement. A big plus is an interest in baking as we have a large range of baking products and equipment.
Further, we would like to see that you have experience working as a shop assistant and/or working with sales in a retail environment. Since the Uppsala shop also has a small café, experience from this branch also is a plus.
A few examples of responsibilities are:
Handling deliveries, labeling and the ingredients labeling of products,
Displaying and layout of the products in the shop,
Keeping the shop clean and tidy,
Making sure company routines and policies are followed,
Work actively for that the shop reaches sales and profitability targets,
Cash management,
Cafe: preparing sandwiches, serving customers coffee etc.,
