BACKGROUND
EPIC, Enterprise collaboration, is the internal client-name for the Collaboration service based on Microsoft Sharepoint 2010. Today used for office users.
With ?EPIC? it is easier for users, projects, maintenance teams and other groups to share information and documents, communicate, use Wiki, Blogs, Discussion forums etc, together with other existing collaboration and communication functionality, such as phones, email, chat and so on.
EPIC was launched in spring 2012 and have today approximately 3000 office users globally, but potential users are over 10 000. One object this year is to investigate more about the business needs and broaden the usage of EPIC.
The collaboration team is now looking for a Super User who will work closely with and complement the existing Super User in the team. You will work in a central role, assisting users with challenging support cases and technical issues.
The collaboration system is to be seen as a standard tool and developing has and will only be done in exceptional cases (outsourced to external partners).
The collaboration team is also responsible for collaboration in the stores where Google Apps is used.
Instead of using fax and snail-mail as a communication/collaboration method, GoogleApps provides e-mail, web-based editing functions for documents and real-time collaboration between stores and country support office.
Since there are only a few persons working in the core team it is important that you are flexible, driven and also takes working tasks outside your main area.
ACTIVITIES OVERVIEW
• Coaching the users and business groups with consulting tasks connected to them being able to
get the best value from the collaboration tool just from their needs.
• Helping identify and help out users and business groups on ?softer? parameters ? adopting a
new way of working that the collaboration tools enables, change management, etc.
• Marketing, demonstrations, promoting the use of the service and technology
• Act 3rd line support for EPIC end users.
• Secure maintainability of the systems but where needed communicate change requests to
outsourced development team
• Secure scalability and quality of educations by regularly updating education plan
• Educate users by standard educations like webinars, class room training or e-learning sessions
• Update documentation like education manuals, 2nd and 3rd line support documentation
• Dialogue with reference group and super user network
• When needed test collaboration implementation in infrastructure
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Several years? experience of working with SharePoint
• Experience and interest in social collaboration
• Experience of user support
• Experience of user training ? both planning and holding training courses and workshops
• Service minded ? you are able to listen to user's and business groups requirements and interact
with them in a positive manner before presenting a solution.
• You are passionate about communicating methodological knowledge in an educational way.
• You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
TOOLS AND SOFTWARE
• SharePoint 2010, Collaboration
• Microsoft Office 2010
• It is an advantage to have previous experience of Google Apps, but not required
• Good to have ? SharePoint 2013, cloud solutions
