We are currently looking for a combined Service Level and Availability Manager to our IT Operations department in Stockholm, a department which is responsible for day-to-day operations of technical poker infrastructure. The role as Service Level manager is to negotiate and ensure that Service Level Agreements and underpinning Operational Level Agreements are met. The role as Availability Manager is to ensure that IT services are planned, built and operated to acknowledge and meet the business requirements for availability and to reduce IT outages in frequency and severity.
Your place at the table
• Ensures continuous dialog with the business about existing and future service requirements
• Monitors Incidents and highlights threshold breaches in agreements and notifies the appropriate people when escalation and breach events occur.
• Reviews and analyses the service quality and provide corresponding reports to customers, users and IT.
• Liaises with business and Capacity Management to understand the availability requirements of future, planned IT services and the derived design and recovery criteria
• Collects and stores availability data to ensure a solid foundation for analysis on current use, identification of trends and the preparation of forecasts
• Analyses incident and problem data to identify, understand and remedy unavailability issues
• Suggests availability related infrastructure changes that positively impacts the business
Your gaming skills and experience
You have the ability to interpret business needs and translate them to availability and service level requirements. You have good negotiation skills and good interpersonal skills. You have an interest in identifying trends and understand how technology and methods may be used to improve business value. You are able to put statistical and analytical principles to good use.
A requirement is that you have an ITIL Foundation and a Practitioner exam. General technical knowledge of IT-infrastructure and software development with a willingness to expand your knowledge is a key success factor for this role.
Player profile
You are a self-starter, very structured and can express yourself fluently in both written and spoken English. Good written and spoken Swedish is preferred but not essential.
You are customer focused and understand how your decisions affect the business and its customers. You have an ability to take initiative and bring to a successful conclusion the assignments that come your way. You have proven documentation skills and a team player.
