We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Service Architect for Visma eEkonomi. As a Service Architect, you will be crucial in designing, developing, and implementing our cutting-edge software solutions that enable businesses to streamline their operations and maximize efficiency.
The team
Work in a team of 50+ crossfunctional team members (20+ developers) with an Azure-hosted ERP service. We are a world class workplace where we combine delivering top class services with having fun. The role
As a Service Architect, you are responsible for the overall architectural design in eEkonomi, and together with the team develop a well-engineered, scalable, and reliable service. You will also work closely together with the Lead Developers as well as the Product Owners.
Your responsibilities include
• Identifying and applying architecture design best practices and techniques, to ensure that the architecture is robust, scalable, and reliable.
• Provide technical leadership by maintaining mid- and long-term technical planning and including it in strategies and roadmaps.
• Advising on technical decisions and implementation.
• Improving technical processes.
• Guide developers to ensure compliance with architectural standards and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in cloud technologies and ERP systems, and proactively propose innovative solutions to improve the overall system architecture.
• Flag technical debt to the Product Owner, or higher levels of management if necessary.
• Be part of and contribute to relevant architect forums.
Who we believe you are
• Strong technical background with at least 5 years of experience in software development.
• In-depth knowledge of architecture and design principles.
• Knowledge of cloud-based platforms, software architecture, and data storage.
• Familiarity with database technologies.
• Experience with system integration and API design.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
