About the job
The Design Visualisation team is part of Volvo Design Visualisation department and is now recruiting Visualisations Artists. The group is responsible to produce material for design and marketing communication. We have started to expand our ambitions of becoming the best in-house visualisation team in the industry. For that reason, we would like to attract experienced talents to continue build up our new visualisation function directly dedicated to marketing visualisation.
About you
We expect you to have what it takes to work closely with car designers in their daily design work. You are a digital visionary with a nothing-is-impossible attitude. Thanks to your good cooperation and communication skills you have the ability to create strong and trustful relationships. You are highly driven and result focused, and find motivation and energy by creating magic together with the team and clients.
Your background is from university, technical college or similar. You have professional skills in VRED and Deltagen/3dexcite, Maya and/or 3ds Max in combination with Vray. You have good skills in post-production software like After Effects, Premiere and Photoshop. English you speak fluently.
We are looking for a candidate with experience from CGI visualisation productions, preferably from automotive and design. In addition to your experience your personality will be of outmost importance.
About the assignment
As a Design Visualisation Artist you will work together closely with the designers. Helping them with visualising their designs and by that bringing the process forward. The digital images and animations you produce will be used for design decisions on a daily basis. That is pretty much it. You master light setting, texturing, UV-mapping, material creation, tessellation and everything else that is worth to know to be seen as professional. A big bonus is if you know how to model soft parts and details in Maya or 3ds Max.
This is a full time permanent position.
