hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Volvo Group Headquaters i Göteborg As head of Brand Portfolio Management you will lead a team with global responsibility for the development and maintenance of the Volvo Group?s Brand Architecture and to develop it into a source of competitive advantage. You will establish targets and track performance and development of the Volvo Group?s portfolio of brands together with appropriate responsible. In this capacity, you will report to the Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Brand Portfolio as part of the management team.
Main activities and responsibilities
• Maintain the overall Brand Architecture for the Volvo Group
• Establish, maintain and follow up a clear brand portfolio within the Volvo Group
• Secure ?One Volvo brand strategy? ? focusing on collaboration/consolidation in order to increase efficiency and strengthening the overall Volvo brand performance, covering all Volvo branded offerings.
• Support the alignment of the brand strategies with product, retail and communication strategies and transfer of best practise.
• Develop, coordinate and maintain the corporate identity and trademarks directives and guidelines for the Group?s brands.
• Secure the development and coordination of a digital brand strategy - focusing on digital channels, devices and other elements
• Monitor and uphold the brand and trademark relationship with Volvo Cars, both directly and through Volvo Trademark Holding.
• Monitor and uphold the brand and trademark relationship with other external parties, JVs and strategic alliances.
• Coordinate the protection of the trademarks by actively acting on brand infringements.
• Drive the Group Brand Management Council.
• Implement relevant Volvo Group and brand management policies, strategies and procedures.
• Continually inspire, develop and motivate the people resources within the function.
• Champion the culture aimed at giving a strong image of the unit and being in line with Volvo Group values and principles.
Critical competencies for the position
With a real understanding of the global Commercial Vehicle market, a talent for working across cultures and business analyses, the SVP Brand Portfolio Management should hold a university degree in a relevant field and is able to demonstrate successful international and multi-cultural business experience in relevant areas. As SVP Brand Portfolio Management you need to have a minimum of 10 years of leadership experience demonstrating a strong track record of professional achievements, preferably also with a customer interface. Strong personal credibility, integrity and creativity are crucial personal characteristics.
Demonstrating a high and solid level in the Volvo Group leadership competencies for the leading business level, the SVP Brand Portfolio Management will be an inspiring and inclusive leader as well as an active team worker.
Specific and proven experiences in the following areas are specifically sought for:
• Extensive experience within brand management within the relevant industry
• Ability to work in multi-cultural, multi-brand, global operations environment
• Significant experience from managing international relations and negotiations at executive levels
• Ability to drive change
• Excellent understanding of the global business environment and the commercial vehicle industry across the value chain
The SVP Brand Portfolio Management has willingness and ability to travel as needed and as all documentation is in English, proficiency in the English language is required.
