Job Description
WHAT YOU'LL DO
We are currently in the process of recruiting a Senior Test Engineer to be part of COS eCom Product Team. You will play an instrumental part in enhancing our organization's test agility by providing necessary capabilities and support and be working in on our e-commerce website.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Having the 360-degree perspective of testing to ensure full E2E quality.
Enabling seamless test automation, efficient test management, and reliable test data management of our e-commerce solutions.
Experience in writing automated test cases and executing them on UI, API, and Events.
Providing high availability, tech-agnostic support, and business value-driven services to our Portfolio Brand Team within the organization.
Testing our inhouse solutions as well as our vendor solutions.
Exploring opportunities to improve and contribute to cross-team and organizational enhancements.
Creation of proper test documentation.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
At COS Product Team, we work closely with our business to design and provide technical eCom solutions. We contribute to product development at every stage, from setting requirements to rollout and testing. From day one, we focus on improving by listening, building, and refining as we go. Even as we define requirements, we are already thinking ahead, using early designs, first developments, and new learnings to continuously make the product better.
We are curious, active listeners and hands-on doers.
Beyond your work with COS Product Team, you will also be part of our Engineering/QA community, where you will have access to a network of experts, resources, and opportunities to grow.

WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for people with...
Experience in doing the whole test chain, with a 360-degree perspective of testing. This means taking on all aspects of testing including functional and non-functional.
Proficiency in creating test plans and test cases.
Experience with test automation frameworks and tools such as Cypress or Playwright.
Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
The ability to enable seamless test automation, efficient test management, and reliable test data management for our e-commerce solutions.
Proficiency in creating and executing automated test cases for UI, API, and Events.
Capability to build and execute end-to-end test cases, with good coordination skills.
Other tools and frameworks that we use are BrowserStack, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, API with REST Assured, Postman, GraphQL, QMetry, UIPath and continuous integration tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Travis CI), and Appium.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
Knowledge of e-commerce domain (is a plus).
At least 5 - 7 years of professional experience in a similar role.
Vast test engineering expertise including performance, integration, exploratory and automation testing, great knowledge of testing methods.
Analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose issues, ability to reach out to correct stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

Good to have:
Practical knowledge of GraphQL, SQL, SAP.
Knowledge about our Centra (e-commerce platform) and Ingrid (Delivery Platform) .
