We currently have the following job opening;
Senior System Engineer for Electric Drive Systems
Electric Propulsion Systems (EPS) at CEVT is responsible for development of Hybrid and Electric Propulsion Systems. The area includes components such as On Board Charger, Wireless Charger, HV Batteries, electric motor, inverters and the complete EPS system design. As Senior System Engineer for Electric Drive Systems you will be focusing on the electric motor, inverter and the driveline both in projects and for future applications.
Responsibilities and tasks
- Be responsible for the technical roadmap within the Electric Drive Systems area
- Be responsible for the Advanced Engineering projects within Electric Drive system area
- Work closely together with our suppliers regarding new technologies, securing that we are in the forefront for the Electric Drive area
- Be technical support to the project design team
- Secure the technical specifications for Electric Drive Systems in the car
- Balancing characteristics and requirements to maximize performance/cost.
- Participate in technical investigations, concept studies and problem solving
- Create reports and present ideas
Requirements
- Good technical knowledge, HW and SW, in general and particularly electric motors and power electronics
- Understanding of driveline and transmission systems
- Master of Science Engineering degree or equivalent
- More than 10 years of relevant work experience
- Structured with an ability to drive, motivate and present ideas
- Good presentation and communication skills
- Problem solving mindset
- Fluent in English
- Team player with flexible approach and a holistic view
Merits
- Knowledge and experience of transmission, hybrid systems. Experience of engine hardware or software development
- Automotive development experience
- Well accustomed to Chinese culture

The position is placed in Sweden, at the Lindholmen area in Gothenburg
