Our team develops and maintains a complete test automation framework solution used in the continuous integration framework at Volvo Cars. The automation framework is used by other teams inside the company and the team is also responsible for support and education of new customers. Since the team is responsible for a complex product, the required general programming skills are high. Our technology roadmap is exciting, and you will be part of an amazing journey when we scale up with new functionality such as machine learning.

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer for the agile cross-functional team.

What will you do?
In your role as software developer, you are a member of a tight agile development team. You will develop the automation framework product, and continuously have contact with customers and offer them onboarding support.
The cross-functional team possess skills in Python, Jenkins, Groovy, Git, CANoe, CAPL, VT systems and Robot Framework.

You are person with a proactive approach, a problem solver and a flexible team player. You are structured, enthusiastic, self-driven and results oriented. We believe that you have strong communication and analytical skills.

Required qualifications
• Expert knowledge in programming in general
• Experience from working with development of test related frameworks
• Good knowledge about testing in a continuous integration context
• Experience from automotive testing
• GIT, Jira and Jenkins or other CI tools

Meritorious
• Some years of experience from implementing Continuous Integration or Software development
• Experience from DevOps
