As a Senior Software Developer at Tacton, you'll contribute to building innovative and robust software solutions that power our renowned Configure, Price, and Quote (CPQ) product. In this role, you'll leverage your technical expertise to create solutions that meet the needs of global manufacturers. What youll do
Develop and Deliver: Design and implement scalable, robust applications using primarily Java and JavaScript
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Product Managers, Architects, and cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business goals.
Maintain and Enhance: Continuously refine existing systems, addressing technical debt, and adding new features that matter.
Document and Communicate: Clearly describe and document software solutions for team members and stakeholders.
Foster Positive Energy: Actively promote a supportive and collaborative team environment, contributing to a culture of optimism and innovation.
What We're Looking For
You're a dedicated software professional who loves solving problems and driving projects forward. Here's what we think you'll bring to the table:
5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in building and maintaining high-quality software products.
Expertise in Java development with the ability to create scalable backend solutions
Comfortable working across the stack
Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for turning business requirements into technical solutions.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Bonus Points If You Have:
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Typescript
Experience with cloud technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker and AWS
Experience in SaaS product development
Experience with test automation
