hela Sverige We are now looking for a Senior Research Scientist - Bioscience for a consultant assignment positioned at AstraZeneca in Mölndal. The assignment is to start 2015-03-01 and for nine months.
We are looking for a scientist with a PhD or equivalent background and proven expertise in the fields of Immunology and Cell culturing. The successful applicant will combine hands-on scientific input into our research activities as well as participating in shaping the scientific direction in projects. We are specifically looking for strong practical experience from in vitro immunological cell activities, such as: primary cell separation from blood, purification and cell culturing, lymphocyte stimulation and cytokine release assays.
The Senior Research Scientist will be lab-based, demonstrate expertise in their own area, propose experimental strategies, interpret, report and present experimental pharmacological data and troubleshoot problems to support drug discovery projects.
The role requires an ability to apply understanding of pharmacology and immunology to support drug project progression. The ability to work independently to contribute to the design and analysis of experimental procedures by incorporating the views of others and to maintain an awareness of current developments in the literature is essential for the role.
