hela Sverige Sandvik IT Services is the Sandvik Group's in-house IT solution provider. A number of our Project Managers have been recruited to new challenges within Sandvik and we are looking for four experienced Senior Project Managers for our Project Team located in Sandviken.
Key performance areas
Senior Project Managers lead a wide variety of projects, from minor IT projects to large-scale, strategic, global projects. All projects are aimed at supporting Sandvik in its cutting edge industrial environment. Experienced Project Managers must possess considerable drive and the will to meet the challenges set by important projects in a rewarding environment. Senior Project Managers bear the responsibility for executing complex projects. As an Experienced Project Manager you already understand the variety of tasks involved such as:
• Leading, planning, coordinating and performing follow up of medium and large projects independently within
any business process, according to project directive. You are responsible for projects' delivered quality and
financial outcome
• Acting as a mentor for less experienced project managers
Your profile
The preferred educational background is an academic degree in IT, economics or equivalent and experience from different sectors. The successful candidate will have experience as Senior Project Manager i.e. at least three year' experience of running medium or large-scale projects in a complex matrix organization. You have documented experience of leading project teams.
As a person you are an experienced manager who is driven, goal-focused and structured in your working methods. Well developed business analysis, problem-solving skills and stakeholder management are required. Good interpersonal and written communication skills are necessary. Good levels of both written and spoken English essential.
