Are you looking for the next challenge in your project management career, and want to work with exciting projects?
DSO Capital Equipment lead a sustainable supply chain, sourcing, producing and delivering competitive and industry leading new and second hand carton packaging equipment and parts.
As a Project Manager, you will be playing a key role in contributing to the strategic ambitions of the Capital Equipment business. You will take on a traditional Project Manager role to plan, staff, execute, implement, control and evaluate the projects you are managing. You will work truly cross functionally with a worldwide internal network.
The position is based in Lund or Modena, and You will be travelling internationally approximately 20% yearly.
Main responsibilities
• Lead the delivery of cross-functional projects
• Understand and manage interdependencies between supply chain, operations and business needs
• Overall responsible for planning, execution and delivery of the project on time, within budget and to the agreed quality to meet the objectives.
• Lead and motivate the project team (core team members).
• Continuous communication with and reporting to senior stakeholders
• Execute the project in an efficient way in line with the applicable process.
• Prepare and present the project for review in the project governance forum.
• Evaluate the outcomes of the project.
Qualifications
As a person You are self-motivated with a strong drive and result orientation. You build easily effective teams and work across boundaries. You pay attention to details, balanced with the ability to see the project in a larger context. You have the ability to exercise informal authority and you easily work cross-functionally with people on all organisational levels. You have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
To be successful in this role, you have an Engineering background or equivalent and you have minimum 3 years of a solid project management experience from complex projects and a PMP certification or equivalent. You have a proven ability to develop effective relationships and gain credibility across all levels of the organisation. Your business understanding is strong and you have vast supply chain experience from the manufacturing industry within a global complex environment. Excellent written and verbal English skills are essential.
