In the role as a Senior Project Leader, you will belong to the Sales & Marketing Department at the Underground Division at Epiroc Örebro. You will be a part of a skilled team of project leaders, each responsible for one or more product development projects.
Mission
The Senior Project Leader is accountable to deliver new product development and upgrade projects according to project objectives and customer needs. You will ensure customer centric, efficient, consistent, and reliable execution of the projects.
You will lead a project team in a collaborative and transparent cross-functional environment. You will have a dialog with all the stakeholders in the project and lead with cross functional knowledge and understanding. It is important that you strive for an open and collaborative culture within the teams, as well as with other departments, functions, and divisions. Further, you must guarantee the safety and wellbeing of your team.
As the project leader, you will ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects, proactively identifying and resolving issues and roadblocks with an innovative and customer centric mindset. You are also expected to provide input to continuously improve project methodology and project management development, by suggesting and implementing new ways of working.
Your profile
To succeed in the role as a Senior Project leader, you will need experience in building and leading efficient project teams and working in complex, cross-functional and global projects.
You have a university degree in a relevant field or comparable working experience. We see that you have experience in product and technology development and knowledge in R&D tools, methods and processes.
You can manage projects with large volumes and know how to influence stakeholders, engage, and inspire the members of the project. You can navigate within complex topics but at the same time dive into smaller details.
We are a global organization and therefore fluent oral and written English skills is necessary.
As a leader you are present and interested in leading through others with a mindset of "new ways of thinking". You are a motivated and "hands on" person with passion and commitment for doing things in the right way, without risking loss of business.
As a project leader you encourage your team, but also challenge them and the project to reach even better results. Your communication skills are very effective, and you know how to adapt your communication to different stakeholders, senior management, and the project members.

Location and travel
The location for this position depends on the final candidate. This position belongs to the product team in Örebro but it is possible to work from our other offices in Sweden, Fagersta, Kalmar or Stockholm Sickla.
