Role
This role requires a Senior Partner Account Manager with a Sales and Negotiation background, accompanied with the ability to; build relationships; enhance our partners knowledge; highlight behaviours and key trends with your designated market; drive increased revenue by recruiting premium Nordic partners: and, lead and develop a high performing team to beat targets within the Nordic Countries.
Ideal Candidate
You will be a self-motivated, dynamic, pro-active and experienced sales and account management professional with outstanding people and organisational skills. You will have a proven ability to beat targets and to provide support to enable your team to achieve targets.
Leading by example, you must demonstrate a wealth of Account Management experience, proven management and coaching abilities. You must be proactive in your communication and demonstrate excellent reporting skills to support both your team and the Area Manager.
You will be used to working within dynamic teams, where pro-activity, autonomy, efficiency and adaptability form the basis for success. A natural team player with fantastic people skills, you will be able to adapt your communication style and approach with differing and demanding situations, as well as varying levels of individuals and hierarchies. You will also be able to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, and clearly articulate strategic, business and technical subjects.
Key Responsibility Areas
Develop New Business
• Develop and manage relationships with online partners in your designated area in order to achieve and support our business objectives.
• Continual area analysis and research to improve quantity and quality of Nordic Partners.
• Identifying websites with potential customers for hotel reservations
• Negotiate and making deals by: affiliate model, pay per click models, search engine optimisation models, web advertising and sponsored content.
• Conduct thorough competitor research and analysis reporting as required to the Area Manager in order for us to gain competitive edge within your designated area.
• Research, co-ordinate and represent Booking.com at national, industry/tourism related, and trade shows, especially in areas where additional supply is required.
• Develop and lead team based projects in order to increase bookings in your designated area.
• Arrange and attend client/prospect meeting in order to secure the business.
• Support the Partner team with feedback and coaching from sales meetings.
Account Management
• Continually support core partners by making account management visits/calls and continually enhancing their knowledge of our product.
• Utilise your industry and online knowledge to manage partner accounts and continually assist them in growing the partnership.
