In joining us you will play an important part from the very start in developing a new generation of large-scale European battery factories. The Senior Operations Design Engineer will enable lean and operational factory designs through utilizing data & cross functional inputs and implementing lessons learned.
Key responsibilities
Develop operational, quality and maintenance requirements as a basis for the design process
Collect & analyze data to build design models for scalability & standardization in the design process
Co-develop and design of the Northvolt Production System based on lean principles and TPM concept and Northvolt Operational Excellence System
Develop best in class engineering standards for Northvolt sites' operations
Collaborate with the factory organization to ensure continuous improvements of our operational processes & collection of lessons learned
Manage the timeline of Industrial Engineering blueprint upgrades
Requirements
Qualifications and experience
Degree in Engineering (Industrial/Process/Production or similar).
4+ years battery manufacturing experience, or similar
3+ years experience in factory design & equipment/tool knowledge
Experience with lean methodology.
Experience in a multi-cultural, cross-functional collaboration environment.
